The city traffic as the important link of the social and economic activities is an essential part of the life of urban residents. However, with the development of urban traffic, travel has become a key problem that hinders people’s lives. Taxi as an important part of the traffic in Beijing City, the phenomenon of taxi hard to take is more frequent. To this end, the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission announced the taxi price adjustment program in June 2013, began to focus on the adjustment of the traffic demand from the perspective of the policy to promote the efficiency and service quality of taxi operators and balance the rate of travel modes.Trip mode choices’ forecast is an important part of urban traffic management. Residents travel system as a typical complex adaptive system, when residents in the travel process, due to the process correlation, the degree of congestion cannot be calculated by the analytical method, so the traditional methods of the sharing rate’s calculation have some limitations.Based on complex adaptive system theory, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the choice of travel mode, so as to establish the decision-making process. Secondly, using the multi-Agent simulation method to determine the behavior rules of the Agent, and the interaction between the Agent and the environment, and construct the multi Agent simulation model of the residents travel mode, which is used to realize the multi Agent simulation system based on Starlogo in logo language. Then, using the system simulates to prove the accurate of the simulation model through empirical demonstration, so as to analyze the effectiveness of the taxi’s pricing adjustment. Finally, based on the prevalence of taxi software in the past two years, introduce the taxi software business simulation in order to evaluate the influence of taxi software business to travel mode choice of residents. And according to the simulation results, this paper suggested that the pricing strategy and the suggestion of the taxi, so as to guide the travel crowd, and adjust the conflicts" interests between taxi and taxi-hailing apps.
