With the development of modern ship technology, the requirements for air-conditioning system are higher. Suitable air environment is helpful to make sure that important electronic equipment are working and to result in a lower failure rate of warship equipment. In addition, it also can improve the living and working conditions of the crew and enhance the combat effectiveness and endurance of warships. Air-conditioning system is an important system of warship, so the training of the operation is very crucial. The air-conditioning simulation system developed by computer simulation technology can achieve good effects in training.This air-conditioning system simulation software used in warships is developed by taking advantage of modern computer simulation technology. Taking a warship as the simulate object, this article establishes the mathematical model of equipment and system and implements the simulation of air-conditioning system on the computer according to the characteristics and working principle of warship air-conditioning system. In the process of mathematical modeling, the mathematical models of the chiller, air conditioner, and cabin temperature are established based on the principles of energy conservation law, thermodynamics, heat transfer theory and the working characteristics of each equipment. The mathematical models of chiller mainly include compressor, condenser, thermostatic expansion valve, evaporator and so on. The mathematical models of air conditioner consist of air cooler and air heater. The mathematical model is simulated and verified by using Matlab/Simulink simulation tool.This paper develops the simulation software of ship air-conditioning system on the basis of the verified mathematical model. Taking VS2010 software as the development environment, the article uses the C# computer language and GDI+ graphics technology to design and develop the control library. According to the working principle and mathematical models of the ship air-conditioning system, the author completes the design and programming of the software interface and the logic program. Finally the simulation software of ship air-conditioning system is completed. The software has a good interactive interface, it can simulate automatic control and manual control modes of operation about air-conditioning system, and the simulation results can be displayed on the software interface real-timely and precisely. In addition, it also can set up the evaluation model and evaluate the student’s operation results. The software can meet the teaching and training requirements.
