With the development of the social and economic, the vehicles have been one of the important means of transportation in modern society. Competition between major auto makers is not only on the production efficiency but also vehicle ride comfort. in order to improve the vehicle ride comfort, so the ride comfort simulation with its advantages has became an very important research project.Firstly, paper introduces the meaning of vehicle riding comfort, research situation at home and abroad of the vehicle ride comfort. after the introduction of the basic principle of modal analysis method and the pseudo excitation method and use, the establishment of a quarter vehicle model, half vehicle model, Vibration simulation for the three kinds vehicle model by using MATLAB. Using MATLAB, we could come up with the body vertical acceleration power spectrum density of them, the front suspension dynamic deflection power spectral density, after the suspension dynamic deflection power spectral density, the front wheel relative dynamic load power spectrum density, the rear wheels relative dynamic load power spectral density. And then established the mathematical model for optimal design of automotive ride comfort and interval uncertain optimization model, and used the interval analysis method the optimization model of uncertainty. Finally, the interval uncertainty analysis and optimization method is applied to the two degree of freedom model, and the analysis and optimization are carried out.The method of combination of modal analysis and the pseudo excitation method is used to solved this ride comfort for simulation and optimization, this method is applied to structural vibration under harmonic excitation response in the complex, by the pseudo excitation method to construct with complex harmonic excitation characteristics of road excitation. The simulation shows that the virtual vibration response, use it to find out the amount of vibration response statistical properties. The process and conclusions of analysis can provide that this method is feasible.
