Vehicle ride comfort is the ability to keep the frequency transferred to passenger in comfort level and make sure the goods intact during delivery.The vibration impact related to human is called comfort.Outstanding ride comfort is becoming an important factor in vehicle evaluation and optimization with the frequent and long road use of vehicle.Ride comfort can be evaluated objective or subjective.Owe to the difference between people,different people may have different feelings under the same vibration condition.So it is hard to give an accurate subjective conclusion.As to the objective evaluation,both the random and impulse input should be applied to test the vehicle.Firstly,based on the ISO2631-1997 standard,the method to process the vibration data and evaluation index are proposed.The correlation analysis shows that the crest factor is always less than 9 under random road,so basis evaluation method is sufficient in this situation.But auxiliary method should be applied if the crest factor is above 9 which is common under impulse input.Secondly,further study the problems in power spectrum estimation and how to get the crest factor after determining the indexes so as to choose the best data processing method and get the evaluation result in frequency domain.According to the weighting function in ISO2631 a frequency weighted filter is designed to evaluate the comfort in time domain.Finally,acquire the vibration data by real vehicle road test and evaluate the ride comfort both in frequency and time domain.Compare the two methods and draw the conclusions.Then divide the indexes according to different road degree,which can be a reference in the future.Vehicle speed,measuring point and other related factors are all taken into consideration in multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,so it is applied in this paper to obtain an aggressive index to evaluate the ride comfort of vehicles which is often used in class B road.
