The Analysis On Information Visualization For Color Blindness

Color vision disorder cones have different degrees of loss of function, according to the degree of disorder color recognition can be divided into color blindness and color weakness. Due to the current limit level of medical and technical methods, human does not have an effective way to cure color vision disorder. For the reasons that color vision disorder researches are focusing on medical aspects, the designers can not directly applied research information to visualization manifestations. Information visualization designing, as an interdisciplinary field, has entered into our daily lives. Person often encountered reading difficulties with this disease cannot identify some of or all of the correct colors from information visualization works.The significance of the topic is to attempt to find a method for vulnerable groups and to study how the information visualization designing allows color vision impaired group to have an access to accessible content. The main analysis method in this thesis are literature analysis, practice survey and deduction. Literature analysis:By reviewing domestic and overseas documentation related to Vision disorder, this thesis tries to summarize the peculiarities of vision disorder group. Practice survey: Analyzing vision disorder group in work, life and entertainment experience, finding the insufficient in the services to the certain group. The Deduction:By using the analyze by the forgoing researchers, this thesis tries to summarize the designing principles of Information Visualization and tries to provide theoretical support for color design care for the disadvantaged groups.
