Aviation generators need to take the load test before be put into operation.Traditional testing is cut by hand and throw the switch to achieve, which will inevitably lead to misuse, and control accuracy is insufficient. Emerging electronic load can achieve precise control, but the electronics will cause harmonic interference, it is also likely to make power supply in test at risk. Based on the above analysis, in order to improve control accuracy and ensure the safety of the device under test, this paper presents a generic and intelligent load control system based on the traditional load.Intelligent load control system is controlled by using a PC send command to load switchgear used for aviation generator load test, which can achieve remote operation of switchgear. The systems respectively controls AC load and DC load, as well as change of voltage, current, frequency active power, reactive power and other electrical parameters to test function of remote operationThis article uses Microsoft’s PC software Visual Studio development tools,graphical interface comes from the Win Form construction, and hardware part is made by the PLC and the various electrical parameters meter, temperature instrumentation components. The system provides a simple convenient and true user interface, the user interface includes a choice of test platform and ways of loading options, intuitive switch buttons and status display, synchronous refresh of electrical parameter display, fault tips,serial port parameters, operational records, historical data inquiry, setting of parameters threshold, graphics and other functions.Finally, we carried out experiments on intelligent load control in the industrial field.The test results show that the system can simultaneously control multiple loads for power load test at far end, it is possible to achieve high speed, accurate testing and test data can be stored as a factory’s historical record which can be used to be inquired and analyzed in the future. At the end of the article, I also submit some ideas on further explored of the system.
