Metamorphic mechanism is a class of mechanism that can transform form one topology to another topology, and its effective components and the number of DOF will be changed in the transformation process. In the actual application process of metamorphic mechanism, when designed and regulation the structure state transformation and movement timing in accordance to the equivalent resistance gradient model, the factors influencing the equivalent resistance gradient is mainly external force, the motion parameters of input components, metamorphic deputy campaign binding changed or unstable,etc. If the external force or active motion parameters changed, the structure state and movement timing of the metamorphic mechanism will change. If the external force is changed or random or the motion parameters of the drive member are varied, metamorphic mechanism cannot move in accordance with the predetermined movement timing or cannot maintain a predetermined period of metamorphic. Eventually leading to the working configurations transformation appears random. Metamorphic mechanism occurs to the random working configurations. Therefore, it is necessary to study the conditions and factors influencing of metamorphic mechanism generating the random working configurations. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, clarify the reasons why metamorphic mechanism produce random working configurations in the process of changing the state. With a 2-DOF five rod mechanism for metamorphic source mechanism, author designed a metamorphic mechanism model. Metamorphic mechanism is designed to be dynamic static analysis, calculated the force of the metamorphic joints. And judge the magnitude of the actual force and the restraint device offered force on the metamorphic joints. According to the result of dynamic static analysis determine the factors influencing the equivalent resistance of gradient.Secondly, analyze the randomness of the constraints metamorphic mechanism. Basing on the principle of equivalent resistance gradient and ADAMS software analyzed the randomness of the constraints metamorphic mechanism.And then concluded the influence of the randomness by the active speed, two spring stiffness coefficient, force and torque.Finally, designed a shaker mechanism, which is the specific application of the constraints metamorphic mechanism. The shaker mechanism applicaed the metamorphic mechanism generates instability when state agencies. Largrange method is applicated to establish the shaker’s dynamic model, and kinetic analysis the shaker. By the Matlab/siumlink software simulation model is established. The numerical analysis the displacement, speed and acceleration signal of the shaker box. The time domain waveform obtained.
