To analyze the reliability of constraint metamorphic mechanism configuration transformation is very important for metamorphic mechanism to be used in practical. Based on the theoretical basis of the study of traditional metamorphic mechanism, combined with knowledge of reliability theory to analyze the main factors affecting the metamorphic mechanism configuration transformation process, and to establish the reliability of the analysis model. The randomness of the relevant factors that affect the reliability of metamorphic mechanism configuration transformation were estimated.The main contents of this paper include:At first, according to the kinematics and dynamics of the process of metamorphic mechanism configuration transformation, the main factors that affect the reliability of metamorphic mechanism configuration transformation were analyzed and estimate the probability distribution.Secondly, based on the theory of equivalent resistance gradient model, we build the reliability analysis model of metamorphic mechanism. We use the coefficient of equivalent resistance to measure the reliability of metamorphic mechanism. Use this model to do reliability analysis for the class Ⅱ augmented Assur Group.Thirdly, it is necessary to analyze the deputy campaign reaction force’s reliable distribution characteristics in order to obtain the probability of Metamorphic mechanism configuration transformation equivalent resistance coefficient’s distribution characteristics. Establish the dynamics probability analysis model of the class Ⅱ equivalent Assur Group so that to obtain the probability distribution of the kinematic pair’s reaction force.Finally, take metamorphic mechanism which has five bars and paper-folding machines for example, split up the augmented Assur group and using the reliability analysis methods that was described previously to make reliability analysis. Using the random number to generate sample and solve reliability in Monte Carlo simulation method.
