The development of low carbon economy, the construction of ecological civilization, sustainable development has become the common understanding of human society. As an important part of energy supply, the development mode of power grid is facing enormous challenges. Smart grid has become the common choice for coping with global challenges of our electric power industry. The communication network with high speed transmission and supporting flexible multi-service access is an effective guarantee of smart grid security, reliability, and economic operation. While with the progress of wireless communication technology, the coverage of wireless network is more and more wide, the communication termin will be in the covera of multi-network in the future.Therefore, research on selection algorithm of smart grid communication network in multi-network service environment has important significance.Facing the communication environment of the future smart grid network service, this paper systematically analyzes the special requirements of the smart grid communications network, introducing the status of smart grid communications networks and key issues in details. Conducting research in the future of the smart grid network selection algorithm in multi-network service environment in depth, and giving the network seclect algorithm based on Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). According to the high takeoff times and no guarantee for critical data transmission performance, we propose multi-decision algorithm based on AHP.In order to ensure the timely, reliable transmission of critical data, multi decision network selection algorithm sets a priority, giving a high priority to key information, improving the response level. At the same time, this algorithm can guarantee the transfer of control information security, high speed, timely by the establishment of the data buffer, using spare network transmission,. In order to reduce unnecessary handoff times, this paper proposes pre-judgment mechanism and dynamic attribute value to guarantee the minimum switching frequency. The simulation result shows that the algorithm has been significantly reduced in the switching frequency and has better quality assurance of key informationalso in the time delay and reliability.
