The advanced friction abrasion testing machine and the friction study experiment technology has the vital significance regarding the friction study research through development alone with computer technology, the automated technology as well as intelligent control technology flourishing more and more frequently, applies it in the friction wear test system has become the friction study experiment to test the technical development research the important content. This article develops the reciprocation type friction abrasion testing machine and it’s the test system, are precisely these technical and the friction wear test organic synthesis product.This article in to rubs the abrasion testing machine the development survey, the classification, the friction wear test goal, the experimental essential method and so on carries on the generalized analysis in the foundation, to rub the abrasion testing machine to carry on the optimized design, established the friction abrasion testing machine request detailed list of specifications, the function structure drawing. From the machinery, the control system hardware, the software and so on three aspects carry on the design to the reciprocation type friction abrasion testing machine. The system, which was built by using servo control technology, intelligent control theory, database technology and other technologies, has the function that the system can automatically adjust the speed and load according to the set processes during the test with the support of the development software programmed by Labview and the corresponding hardware. Further more, the system has the functions of real-time collection, online analysis, saving and display of the signals of load, friction torque, line speed, friction coefficient and temperature. Therefore, the test process can be real- timely and quantitatively evaluated, measured and controlled. The software has friendly interfaces. Due to the use of the multithread in Labview, the stabilization and reliability of the system can be ensured. In addition, because of Object Oriented software engineering method will make it more convenient to update the system.
