Electro-osmosis is a method which use of electric power to reinforce foundation,it can reinforce faster and better on fine particle and low-permeability soil. In recent years,nanotechnology has been booming in civil engineering,especially the use of nanotechnology to restore concrete in electric field is instructive to treat soft soil of electro-osmosis. Soft soil and concrete both are porous medium,we can modify the surface of nanometer materials to add electrical charge,because of nanometer materials has big specific area and high surface energy,hydrated minerals in soil can cling to it easily,so nanometer materials can diffuse well in electrolyte solution and move rapidly in electric field to discharge the water in soil. In order to study the effect of charged nanometer materials in electro-osmosis consolidation,several series of tests in various conditions were conducted in the room,the main studies in the thesis are as following:1. In order to research the effect of electrolyte solution,4 contrastive test with normal,intermittent electricity,higher voltage,injecting saturated CaCl2 solution were conducted to compare with displacement,shear strength and microeconomic structure. The results show that injecting saturated CaCl2 solution in soil is better than the other three methods,after electro-osmosis consolidation,the displacement and shear strength are bigger than the other three methods,it proved that injecting electrolyte solution can promote drainage during electro-osmosis consolidation.2. The solution made in this paper is nano sized electric SiO2. 5 groups SiO2 and CaCl2 solution of different concentration have been compared in tonnage,mechanical parameter before and after electro-osmosis consolidation,microstructure,and the analyze of the chemical material of the sludge. The results of the experiment show that the concerntration of the solution have a vital influence on electro-osmosis consolidation and there exists an auto fit concentration. Electro-osmosis is auto fit in electric nano sized solution.3. Experiments have been done to solve the problem of the extremely corrosion of the metal electrode. The effect of NaHCO3 solution and detergent solution has been compared and result shows that detergent solution has a better effect.
