With the rapid development of highway construction in our country, pre-tensioned pre-stressed concrete hollow slab girder due to its simple structure clear stress, convenient construction, and it is suitable for high volume factory precast and other advantages, making it in the bridge construction is widely used. Pre-tensioned pre-stressed concrete hollow slab bridge to bring good economic benefits, but also accompanied by some disease, which is more typical transverse cracks pre-tensioned hollow plate slab bottom. If the transverse cracks are not treated in time, it will directly affect the use of the bridge, and even cause the collapse of the bridge, which endangers the safety of people’s life and property.Produce pre-tensioned pre-stressed concrete hollow slab bottom slab transverse cracks related to many aspects of design, construction, maintenance and traffic control problems, so this is a very complex issue. In this paper, taking a section of highway Zhang Shi highway 3×16m pre-stressed concrete slabs bridge as the engineering background. Analysis and study of the transverse cracks appear in the bottom of the bridge board. The bridge length of 52 m, bridge width 26 m, about two minutes, the number of lanes for the two-way 6 lanes, the upper structure is made of 72 pre-tensioned pre-stressed concrete hollow boards, the substructure is a two-column pier, abutments for the gravity. Midas Civil 2014 software is used to build a space finite element model. A total of 1518 units, in the division of units, the cross section of the use of 1~2m as a unit, in the vicinity of the support unit for encryption, using 0.2~0.3m as a unit. Then, combining the concrete crack theory, spatial theory of bridge, bridge finite element simulation analysis results and hollow slab beam bridge deck bottom transverse cracks in actual situation, comprehensive analysis, find out the limitations of the pre-tensioned method and the increase of traffic flow and vehicle load are the main reasons for the transverse cracks of the hollow slab girder bridge. Provide some reference for the design, construction, management and maintenance of the similar bridges.
