Probe Into The Micro-topographical Design Of Urban Park

Landform is an art generalization of personalize scenery, is the embodiment of the spirit of place, is a basic skeleton of landscape, different landforms and physiognomy reflects the different landscape features. Micro-topography is a relatively small area in the terrain, it has most close relationship with other garden factors, affects each landscape formation. In the urban parks, micro-topography can directly affect the aesthetic characteristics of park landscape, space environment and people’s feelings; also affect the park drainage, microclimate, and the function structure of the land. At present, the urban parks appear constantly, the jagged park environment quality seriously affects people’s aesthetic demand and spiritual and cultural activities. About park terrain, the designer just outline in front of the computer without thinking, the real micro-topography that influences the quality of the park landscape is ignored by most people. Therefore, the study of micro-topography in the urban parks has important practical significance.Firstly, paper defined the concept of micro-topography and terrain in the urban park, and distinguish between the two areas of study. And then through the research of theory and practice at home and abroad, which summed up the basic classification and basic functions of the micro-topography, as well as the strong links between micro-topography and the other landscape elements. After a series of basic research, paper summed up the design principles of micro-topography in the urban park which based on three basic principles of ecology, human nature and art. Secondly, the micro-topography combined with roads, plants, buildings, water, squares and landscape sketch elements designed in conjunction way to explore the general strategy of the micro-topography in the urban park. Thirdly, paper use Nanchang People’s Park practical application to verify the feasibility of the design strategy of the micro-topography in the urban park, and put forward transformational suggestions on micro-topography design deficiencies in terms of ecology, human nature and art in the park. Finally, summarized the thesis research results and prospected the future.
