This selection of the more important lower Yellow River and is characterized by significant Dangerous to the study, by the stability data analysis, in order to improve flood control engineering capability, stable river regime, the need to improve the use of offshore structures for the masonry dam reinforced soil technology demonstration. This paper describes the application and development of reinforced soil technology, summarizes and reviews the current research reinforced technology, through theoretical analysis, laboratory tests and practical method of combining discuss the reinforced soil technique in water conservancy project role, purpose, significance, research methods and content of reinforcement techniques were studied. This paper carried out the following tasks:review the theory of reinforced technology development; design methods are reviewed reinforced the principle of reinforcement technology, failure mechanism and forms and reinforcement technologies; reinforcement techniques to verify the reinforcement material, plus tendons way, reinforced layers, confining pressure on the reinforcement effect on mechanical properties were important tests-triaxial test; design and construction to explore the technical feasibility, the choice obvious vulnerable spot to the feature and construction the process of embedding observation instruments, further reinforcement technology in the Yellow River vulnerable spot verification of the feasibility and reasonableness.This paper demonstrates the feasibility of using the data taken of reinforced earth technique for masonry dam shore. More engineering proved vulnerable spot is often more complex than heightening reconstruction to build a new dam, the construction of the dam with a conventional aging, research article will undoubtedly have broad application, it aims to promote geosynthetic reinforced soil application of hydraulic engineering.
