Being as a new type of pavement regeneration technology, foamed asphalt cold reclamation technology is highly practical and applicable in road construction. It can lower the construction cost while being energy saving and environmental friendly. It can also be used to change the status quo of the enormous pressure in highway maintenance in our country. This thesis intends to find out the best proportion design and an actionable technological process for Jiaxing district in foamed asphalt cold reclamation, based on the study of the material properties and climatic conditions in Jiaxing.Based on the asphalt foaming properties, two kinds of commonly used asphalt in Jiaxing area were studied, and the influence of asphalt types and water consumption on the foaming effect is discussed.By collecting data from asphalt milling planning material in typical cold reclamation projects and summarizing the use of the old asphalt pavement and material characteristics in Jiaxing area, possible ratio design for the next step are provided as reference.Combined with the practical experience from engineering projects in Jiaxing, the usual mix design process of foamed asphalt cold recycling is optimized in the thesis, especially in the adjustment of gradation, asphalt content and water consumption. On the basis of the construction project of 320 national highway in Jiaxing, the pavement structure design, the proportion plan, the construction organization and quality control in the foamed asphalt cold reclamation plant are summarized to provide more information on the subject.
