| The road from Yiliang to Zhenxiong (Yiliang S302 Provincial Highway to Zhenxiong section, hereinafter referred to Yi-Zhen road) is an important part of the road network in Zhaotong, is also a major factor in economic development in northeast Yunnan. Large economic losses and casualties are always created by high frequency of geological disasters along the Yi-Zhen road. This slowed the development of the villages and towns around that area, and threatened the residents. So, the study of geological disasters along the Yi-Zhen road, the discovery of geological disasters’ distribution general laws and the assessments of geological disasters are the most important work to prevent and manage the disasters along the road, and ensure the roads’ safety and traffic flow in Yi-Zhen road, at the same time, design and build the geological disasters’risk evaluation system of the Yi-Zhen road can be achieved for road management and appraisal of the geological disasters along the demand.This paper analyzes and summarizes a large number of related theories and methods of geological disasters at home and abroad. The effective scope (500-1000m) in Yi-Zhen road of Yunnan province has been selected as our study area. We extracted the information of geological disasters’ risk evaluation factors based on the ARCGIS and following works. Firstly sufficient study of the present situation in the area (collapses 15 cases, landslides 28 cases, unstable slopes 93 cases in the area),and the geological law in Yi-Zhen road. Secondly, arrange the data on collapses, landslides and the unstable slopes. Under those works, we quantify and classify the evaluation factors, and combine the AHP, calculate the weights of each factor, establish the geological disasters’ risk evaluation model. From the systems analysis(include the requirement analysis of consumers, data analysis and feasibility analysis),we carry on the overall design and detailed design of the system. The system adopts the C/S model, establish the geological disasters spatial database about the Yi-Zhen road based on the ArcSDE Geodatabase and SQL Server. At last, ArcGIS Engine is selected as the secondary development technology, and we use the C#, which is the visual programming language of object-oriented, to construct the geological disasters’ risk evaluation system of Yi-Zhen road on the Visual Studio2010,which is combine the query and search, statistical analysis, printout, and data dynamic maintenance. And the system is based on the ArcGIS Engine. With the establishment of this system, we can offer technical support to Yi-Zhen area department of geological disasters and administration of highways in disaster prevention and reduction, and assurance of roads safety. This has large popularization and application value. |
