Dazhou-Wanzhou railway located in the area of low mountain and hilly, in the northeastern edge of Sichuan basin. Its features refers to crisscross gulleys, complicated terrain, the strata lithology is mainly for red layer of Sichuan (sand and mud interbed).The geological conditions along the railway is complicated and geological hazards occur continually, especially collapses and landslides (slide).These hazards threat the operation safety of the railway, so it is necessary for geological hazard risk assessment of Dazhou~Wanzhou railway.The paper based on the basic data of geological hazards monomer along railway obtained by the field investigation and under the guidance of experts suggest analyze the control factors of various geological hazards and formulate the evaluation criteria。The analytic hierarchy process (ahp) is adopted to calculate the weights of evaluation factors included of the hazards,finally the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used for geological hazard risk assessment of all kinds of geological hazards monomer along the railway. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method according to the theory of the fuzzy membership degree transform the geological disaster risk qualitative evaluation based on the field work into quantitative evaluation, and obtain a relatively clear evaluation of geological hazards risk assessment under the influence of various factors.On the basis of the above results, the paper comprehensive analyzes the influence of controlling factors of various types of hazards on geologic hazard monomer risk assessment, and in combination with the experts suggestions to obtain the evaluation factors and the weight of each evaluation factor of geologic hazard risk assessment zone, and then fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the geologic hazard risk division.The comprehensive evaluation results of the geological hazard monomer risk assessment results and geologic hazard risk division evaluation results along railway obtained by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method were basically consistent to field evaluation results. So methods used in the paper to evaluate the geologic hazard risk along Dazhou~Wanzhou are reasonable and credible...
