Preliminary Planning Horticultural Therapy Used In Leisure Agriculture Park

With the speeding up of urbanization, the tension of life and reality pressure, made a lot of negative impact on people’s health let people feel a strong desire to return to nature. The leisure Agriculture Garden provided the appropriate site for people to restore physical and mental health to become the product of the social status quo. Gardening therapy is more and more recognition and have an attention to the people, so introducing gardening therapy to leisure Agriculture Garden, greatly satisfied the people to pursue a healthy life desire.Rapid development of leisure agriculture in Sichuan province, however, the gardening therapy still not infiltrated into the design of leisure agriculture park very well, so the theory and practice experience of the horticultural therapy garden is not good enough. Through field investigation, collecting, sorting and analysis of literature, the author decided to choose Chengdu three holy land— "five golden flowers" ecological agricultural village and Pi county Agriculture Garden as examples, they both can reflect the current situation of the development of Sichuan province leisure Agriculture Garden. Through a series of on-the-spot investigation, visit, assessed the two functional zoning, special tree species, plant landscape and supporting facilities, etc., summarized their advantages and disadvantages, which reflected the present situation of leisure Agriculture Garden of Sichuan province. At the same time, put forward a great design method to horticultural therapy which can be better applied to leisure agriculture parks in Sichuan province.In this dissertation, two selected investigation analysis of leisure Agriculture Garden had a profound cultural background and rich natural resources. Basic functional partition of the Park is clear, suitable to the local conditions. Park put economic benefit first, attention to the development of facilities and the reception facilities, but lost a lot of leisure Agriculture Garden originally design value and theory, and not truly embody the detail of horticultural therapy. Plants, environment and people are the three most important elements of horticultural therapy need to work very close and cannot be short one of them. Plants need the science guidance theory to create the characteristics of landscape and space, to maximize the horticultural therapy effect and meet the requirement of the treatment. On the one side, these two parks have some participating facilities and related hard software in the area, on the other side they build some ornamental flowers garden and colorful forest belt, but still not reached the effect of horticultural therapy.On the basis of the investigation and analysis of Sichuan province leisure Agriculture Garden design, we summarized the advantages and disadvantages of gardening therapy using in these two parks. And analyzed the natural landscape, characteristic resource, culture resource, function division, the contact space, water features and facilities of good example from excellent foreign cases, to lay the foundation for the design of our case. Finally we use Deyang ecological agriculture park as a practical object, proposed the gardening therapy runs through the whole design, in order to provide a theoretical reference to leisure Agriculture Garden planning and design in the future of Sichuan province.
