Our country to build a large number of various types, and all kinds of other dam and concrete gravity dam as a more common type of dam, which mainly relies on gravity to maintain the stability of the dam as the most important control factors, the horizontal displacement parallel to the river is particularly important. Therefore, it is very important to study the dam safety monitoring and its monitoring data.Shangyoujiang dam although the main factors to influence the operation of the dam were monitored, and preliminary safety monitoring system, but not the monitoring data analysis and did not develop dam safety monitoring index, dam managers can not only by monitoring data accurate judgment dam in the state, is not in a timely manner in the dam may danger, take precautions, so Shangyoujiang dam in urgent need of a safety monitoring index of the real work guidance.Firstly of Shangyoujiang dam volume effect and environmental capacity of prelimina-ry analysis, to investigate the initial cause of the change, current dam safety monitoring theory and related theory was used to, and on the top of dam lead line monitoring points of the measured data, established the horizontal displacement of dam crest system model and mixed model, and using the model forecast, that the prediction result is good, then the early warning theory, using established statistical model and mixed model, proposed based on confidence interval method of Shangyou River dam displacement monitoring index, and use the prediction results are compared, draw the monitoring index in the guarantee rate range.Through the above work, in Shangyou to establish the monitoring model and to develop monitoring index achieved good results, indicating that this method is feasible.
