With the growth of heavy lift’s demand and the rapid development of heavy lift trade, heavy lift transport has become an important part in ocean transportation market. In order to meet market demand, major shipping companies continue to expand in the field, and heavy lift transport fleet size continues to expand too. At the same time, the accidents have occurred sometimes during the transportation due to lashing fastener causes, resulting in a significant loss of life and property, and threaten the healthy development of the transportation market. How to provide a safe and feasible securing program has become an important issue.Start from the heavy lift’s external force and learn from the results of previous research on external force of heavy lift, and make in-depth study; summed up a credible force calculation method; then refer to the actual heavy lift transportation case, and analysis force in flexible and rigid way to determine the force calculation method when using different ways. Based on the above research and analysis; summed up three programs and the algorithm of each program:pure flexible, pure rigid and flex-rigid mixed securing.Based on the established model, and use Visual C++ 2010 software development platform develop a system Fastening& Checking Model of The Heavy-lifts on Ships. The system will calculate the external force of heavy lift automatically; using the system can complete the verification of existing program and design a new program for fastening. The system implements the visualization functions, friendly interface, and using the relevant mathematical algorithms which are not limited to a particular shape of goods. In addition, the system also left a number of functional interface for the further development.
