As an important kind of nodes on high-speed railway network, high-speed railway passenger stations have lots of train operation and passenger service operation. Because of the quantity of trains and passengers’increasing, the utilization rate of carrying capacity and capacity of passenger service facilities at parts of high-speed railway passenger stations are near the limitation. In order to meet the increasing demand of trains and passengers, it is necessary to identify whether the bottleneck is carrying capacity or capacity of passenger service facilities and to take measures to enhance the corresponding capacity at high-speed railway passenger stations. Because of the interaction between carrying capacity and capacity of passenger service facilities, study on matching-relation between them is needed.The text studied matching-relation between carrying capacity and capacity of passenger service facilities at high-speed railway passenger stations based on the method of evaluating station carrying capacity by computer simulation and the method of microscopic pedestrian simulation. Key points of the text are as follows. Firstly the text set out different types of technical facilities and operational content, characteristics of facilities’ use, computation methods of capacity and then analyzed the matching-relation between carrying capacity and capacity of passenger service facilities at high-speed railway passenger stations. Secondly the text analyzed passenger flow’s relations with carrying capacity and capacity of passenger service facilities, and then built mathematical models of the matching-relation between carrying capacity and capacity of passenger service facilities by using passenger flow as a link and established methods of evaluating the matching-relation. Thirdly, the text established a simulation method to study the matching-relation between carrying capacity and capacity of passenger service facilities. Finally, the text studied the matching-relation between carrying capacity and capacity of passenger service facilities at Beijing south railway station based on an integrated system of high-speed railway station carrying capacity simulation system and passenger simulation system developed by the research group and then identified the bottleneck of capacity at Beijing south railway station.After simulation study in the text came to the following conclusions. Carrying capacity and capacity of passenger service facilities do not match and the bottleneck is the capacity of passenger service facilities. Most of passenger service facilities are lack of capacity on the condition of maximum utilization rate of carrying capacity. Both increasing quantity of facilities and changing passenger transportation organization methods should be used to improve. |
