As a key equipment to ensure railway station traffic safety and improve transport efficiency, computer interlocking system has become more and more mature through long-term development, however, it has shortcomings such as numerous trackside devices, heavy workload during construction, high-cost in reconstruction and so on.With the development of wireless communication, computer network and satellite positioning and other emerging technologies, building a new computer interlocking system to solve problems above becomes possible. In recent years, scholars have proposed a train-ground cooperative interlocking mode (TGCM), in this mode, the structure of system was simplified, construction costs and the difficulties of reconstruction were reduced.In this thesis, the functional requirements of distributed interlocking computer (DIC) in TGCM were analyzed firstly. Then a design scheme of DIC system was proposed. On this basis, hardware and software design for the prototype was accomplished, and the safety and reliability of the system units were analyzed. Finally, a simulation environment was built to verify the validity of the system. Research work of this thesis focuses on the followings:First of all, for the TGCM, the functional requirements of computer supporting platform for interlocking were analyzed. On this basis, an architecture of distributed computer for train-ground cooperative interlocking was proposed.Secondly, based on the structure proposed above, topologic design of the communication network was accomplished and the solution of interlocking unit access to communication network was optimized by multi-population genetic algorithm, the results show that the performance of communication network was improved.Then, design scheme of interlocking unit in TGCM was accomplished. Based on this, the hardware of switch interlocking unit and signal and section interlocking unit were designed, and simulation software of onboard interlocking unit was designed based on existing research results.Moreover, the Markov models of interlocking units were built, and the safety and reliability of interlocking unit design scheme were analyzed with the manual of reliability prediction procedure.Finally, the distributed interlocking computer system prototype in train-ground cooperation mode and the simulation environment were built. And the typical interlocking functions were tested to verify the effectiveness of the system.
