Transmission mechanism is used to change the speed and torque which from the engine, it is one of the key components of truck drive train, it has great significance for truck transmission dynamics and kinematics simulation analysis to optimize the structure and performance of the vehicle itself. Automobile transmission mainly rely on the gear to deliver power and achieve the process of transmission, the stable of gear transmission is the guarantee for transmission reliable to achieve vehicle performance. As technology advances, virtual Prototyping Technology used more and more widely in Mechanical Design, it can simulated Realistic conditions of transmission, analysis of the stress curve, giving a reference for product design from another side, getting less time for the product design cycle, promoting the progress of modern design, the task is based on requirements of truck operational and combined with the principles of transmission design transmission to work out the transmission modeling, basing on the theory of finite element and multi-body dynamics theory to draw out finite element model and the virtual prototype of the transmission, carrying out statics analysis, modal analysis and motion simulation analysis for truck transmission, getting the corresponding characteristic curve of transmission, guidance the optimization transmission design.The internal gear in transmission can transmits power from the engine, external box provide a supporting role for the interior, both of them are the key components of the transmission, Therefore, analysis of automobile transmission must include analysis of the relevant characteristics for the transmission gear and the transmission housing.Choosing light truck transmissions for this study, according to the actual size of the transmission, using bottom-up approach to established the parts models of transmission, according to actual assembly relationship carried entity model to established the good parts, carrying out finite element structural analysis and kinematics simulation for sub-assembly model in turn, clearly shows the mechanism of kinematic transmission, it will play a guiding role in promoting optimize of transmission design.Using of the transmission assembly model, established the finite element model of gears, the input and output shafts and carried out static characteristic analysis, obtained the equivalent stress contours and displacement contours, while do theoretical for the work process transmission input shaft, calculated the forces of working process, compared with the static characteristics analysis results, checked the strength and stiffness of the input shaft, using the way of dynamic Characteristics Analysis to get the input shaft first six natural frequencies and mode shapes.Transmission housing is the backbone of entire transmission, bear action from different direction and different size forces in transmission, the working environment is very bad, established solid model of the transmission housing, calculated the forces when the transmission under the normal condition, applying a load in bearing hole for static analysis, checking for strength of transmission housing.
