As the diversification of the structural forms and the rapid development of the social economy, more and more high-rise buildings appear in the city. In order to meet the requirements of the space, more and more designers choose the frame-corewall structure in practical engineering. At the same time, the problem that the structural height contributes to the shortage of the lateral stiffness exposed, and the appearance of strengthened story solved the problem to a great extent. There are all kind of strengthened story’s structure, and the strengthened story that we choose in this article is the steel truss of diagonal web member.The key of the deign is the location of strengthened story, we analyse the same structure with the strengthened story in different location by using the software SAP2000, then we get the conclusion under the effective data. The main research contents contain several following aspects.In the first chapter, we mainly introduce the diversity of structural forms and draw forth frame-corewall structure system, and expound the danger of earthquake to highlight the importance of structural anti-seismic design.In the second chapter, we mainly provide further introduction about frame-corewall structure, at the same time, introduce the concept of strengthened story, the types and the characteristics of various types, and expounds the mechanism of strengthened story.In the third chapter, we introduces the basic summarizes several commonly used methods of seismic design, then introduce the theory of dynamic and time-history analysis elaborately, compare and choose the suitable method which can be used to the model in this paper.In the forth chapter, we build the model of structure by the software S AP2000 and make modal analysis, then we introduce the related parameters of the model. We analysis and contrast the result of the modal analysis, mainly contrast the result of the structure’s natural period, to evaluate the seismic performance of the six kinds of model.In the fifth chapter, we analyse the structure in two ways, elastic-plastic dynamic and time-history analysis and elastic-plastic nonlinear static analysis. The paper mainly contrast the displacement of the vertices and the interlayer displacement angle under the dynamic and time-history analysis, then introduce the basic theory and methods of Pushover. In the six model, we set up the same load loading mode, then run the Pushover to get the performance point and the failure mode. We evaluate the seismic performance of different model and come to a conclusion by combining with the conditions of different plastic hinge.In the sixth chapter, we mainly disposal the conclusion of this study, and make a summary and outlook about something thoughtless.
