A Test&control System Of Voltage Disturbance Generator Based On LabVIEW

In industrial production life, electricity is widely used in various industries. With the increased energy demand, power quality problems also bring power quality problem such as harmonic distortion, power system faults and transient.Therefore, the study on a voltage disturbance generator to solve the problem such as analog voltage swells, dips and power failures voltage imbalance is very important. In this paper, based on the Lab VIEW software platform and signal conditioning hardware and data acquisition equipment, a testing and control system of voltage quality disturbance generator is proposed.As one of the core of the voltage disturbance generator, This paper mainly completed the function of control and power quality monitor. The quality disturbance generator can show the real-time display state and the parameter seetings about the three-phase out voltage.Besides, it can also control the start or stop of the whole system. In conjunction with the online data acquisition equipment collecting power input and output, analyzing online and offline data and completing the function of power quality monitor. The Lab VIEW testing and control system consists of three parts: signal conditioning, data acquisition and GUI software. Signal conditioning board complete the function about signal isolation and conditioning of the input and output voltage. Power input signal into a voltage signal which will comply with the data equipment input requirements. Data acquisition use the USB-6343 data acquisition equipment as the core to achieve the functions of analog signal acquisition and digital I/O control. Data acquisition achieve the function of signal collect, alarm and response. The core of the GUI software part of this system, based on the windows operating system, through the input buttons, waveforms, spreadsheets and other software interface, with the portion of the signal conditioning and data acquisition equipment, complete the function of testing and control. The software in the function mainly includes two GUI control panel: Lab VIEW testing and control GUI and Lab VIEW offline analysis GUI. Lab VIEW testing and control GUI change the voltage waveform output, system start or stop,system status display and alarm, with the data acquisition equipment and Signal conditioning board. Lab VIEW offline GUI analysis the offline data, playback display waveform,generate reports, generate waveforms.The system tested in laboratory and National grid.The results shows the system has achieved the function and completed index requirements.Firstly, this paper discusses the background significance and development of voltage disturbance generator, analying the calculation method of power quality parameters, and puts forward the overall design scheme of the Lab VIEW testing and control system for voltage disturbance generator. Secondly, the hardware design of the signal conditioning board in the Lab VIEW testing and control system of the voltage disturbance generator are completed, and the design of the front panel and the rear panel of the software design are described in detail. Finally, the function and performance of the system are tested.
