The research contents of this paper is part of the revision work which is derived from China Academy of Building Research of the national standard named technical code for building and civil engineering in flood detention basin. China is a country with serious flood. Recently flood detention basin as an important part of flood control and disaster mitigation system has been taken seriously. And with the improvement of living, local residents put forward higher requirements for the safety of the house. Therefore, this paper is based on the principle and method of computational fluid dynamics, using the CFD software to simulate numerically and analyze the housing surface pressure and regional flow field under the flood action in flood detention basin.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) House models with different holes form were established. By the CFD software named FLUENT, housing surface pressure and regional flow field in the flood was simulated numerically. The distribution of housing surface pressure and the variation of regional flow field for different holes rate, different holes location and different holes wall was analyzed.(2) Single-layer and double-Bay house model was established. Housing surface pressure in the flood was simulated numerically. The distribution of housing surface pressure of the upstream face, the side face and the back face under different flow velocity and flow depth was analyzed.(3) The calculation results of housing surface pressure from (2) were used to do one-way fluid structure coupling numerical simulation analysis on the reinforced concrete house by software named Ansys-Workbench. The deformation and stress distribution of the reinforced concrete house in the flood was analyzed, and the weak position of the house structure in the flood was determined.The research contents of this paper will provide reference for the revision work of technical code for building and civil engineering in flood detention basin, and it will also provide a basis for the flood design and reinforcement in flood detention basin.
