Study On Public Space Design Of The Creative Industry Park Transformed From The Industrial Sites

As a kind of rising industry,creative industry,which makes up and ajusts city’s industrial structure,receives much concern in recent years.Creative industry parks have been largely built, while public space is characteristic component of creative industry parks,which is well worthy to research As the main part of creative industry parks, industry-transforming ones is an important approach to regeneration of city’s waste land and has the potential to construct.This article discusses the public space creative industry parks transformed from the industrial sites, not only states its design points as city open space but also explores its inner post-industry landscape quality.This article mainly includes three parts. Firstly,combining literature reading, cases study and site investigation, this article which aims at current condition of creative industry park makes fundemental research from macrocosm to microcosmic in the aspects of layout, sorts and landscape elements. Secondly,three design principles are put forward according to characteristic of public space, including humanity inclusive, artistry and ecology sustainability.Thirdly, seven design strategies are concluded correspond with three design principles:in the aspect of humanity inclusive,constructing humanized space and inheriting site context act as designing basis;about the strategy of artistry, blending multinational art, artistic design of surroundings and planning activities in creative industry parks are put forward, that are methods to shape public space;as to ecology sustainability,two strategies which are ecosystem restoration and low-cost design are core of public space design. Applied methods, applied fields, applied roadmap of which are also studied.A design method applied to the public space of industry-transformation creative industry parks has been bulit up in humanity, artistry and ecology perspective, which is aimed at providing designers with some insight on how to construct public space of industry-transformation creative industry parks in china.
