All the time the development of battery electric vehicle is the effective way to improve the natural environment and reduce the cost of energy, so research on battery electric vehicle has been very hot. The driving control system of motor is one of the heart parts of control technology of battery electric vehicles. The type of motors and control methods are various, different combinations of them have different performance. PMSM has many advantages, such as high power density, superior ability to speed regulation and high efficiency, so it is very right to be used for the driving motor of battery electric vehicle. Research of advanced control methods of PMSM is very necessary. IGBT driving technology is one of the core technology of PMSM driving control system for battery electric vehicle, Its driving performance has a large influence to the stability of the control system. So the research for superior IGBT driving controller is great meaningful.The mathematical model of PMSM applied to battery electric vehicle has been established in different coordinate systems on this topic thesis, and detailed introductions have been made on the Direction Torque Control system and the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation(SVPWM), and the Direction Torque Control system based on the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation has been built and simulated in the condition of MATLAB/Simulink. The motor controller include double power supply circuit, multiple protection circuit and many kinds of signal detection circuit and so on. And various schematic diagrams of the hardware circuits have been put on the article, and analyzed applications and functions of every circuit. In the software parts, the article simply introduced the process of the main program, and make the interrupt handlers as the key point, which contain master interrupt handler and protection interrupt handler of power module. The article described the driving circuit of IGBT on the hardware in detail. The basic principle of IGBT is analyzed, Detailed explanations about the IGBT drive circuits have been made in this article. There are isolation circuit between control signal and driving voltage, push-pull amplifier circuit of electrical level and capacity factor.
