Artistic Analysis The Architecture Decoration In Luohan Temple From Chongqing

As one of the important part of Buddhist architecture in China, temple architecture has the way of promoting Buddhist culture and its inspiration,but also it is a special form of atchitecural art.The Arhat Temple located in Chongqin,a prosperrous city,is the typical representative.So far, the research for The Arhat Temple ornament is the first stage.Lacking of systematic research and summary,the paper will have a deep study in its Buddhist culture and regional architectural form.Looking up a large number of historical documents in early days and field visits,local interviews for many times,this paper has analysed the research conditon in home and seas,summarized the unique cultural background and character in decoration for the Arhat Temple in Chongqin through comparison and induction,summary diagram analysis.According to analysis and summary its cutural connatation in the people image which is the charateristic buddhist culture, the term will continue to study the decorational charater including space art in some hall,detail decoration,landscape elements in jungle.All these will contribute to a deep understangding of the culture of Arhat Temple and help us to know the different decorational character in different temple architecture.According to analysing and comparising the modern artchaize structure and the coexistence of ancient artitecture in one temple, it reflects different times make different form of temple artitecture in technique.Researching the the artitecture of Arhat Temple can know more about the character of Chongqin temple artitecture, and contribute to the continuation of special temple cuture,also play a significant role in protecting temple architecture.For the Arhat Temple artitecture in Chongqin,this paper has a regional analysis and supplement the artitectural decoration in local temple artitecture. On the one hand,we have a deep undersatangding in the characteristic culture backgroud of Arhat temple.On the other hand,this study can be used as a reference to the constuction and maintenance in morden temple artitecture.At last,it offers some conference to the research of culture system for the region temple artitecture in Chongqin.
