The rapid development of environmental energy collection technology, make the nodes obtain energy from the environment and self-power supply has become a feasible way to solve the energy problem. There is continued weak voltage of MV magnitude between trees and rounding soil. If this kind of energy can be accumulate, and used as charging power for wireless sensor networks, the power supply problem of wireless sensor nodes will be solved. This paper discusses the method of plant electric energy collection and storage into a lithium battery. Designed and compared the performance of two different boost plans, which low-input and low-loss boost chip S8353D50 and LTC3108 were adopted in respectively. In this paper, a series of performance comparison tests and energy consumption calculation analysis of two kinds of boost circuits were carried out. A kind of wireless sensor network nodes were provided afterwards, based on plant electric energy. Main control chip and temperature sensor were designed, which were suitable for forest environment and of low power consumption. It has been verified that the trees electric energy acquisition and storage circuit system can collect plant electric energy and the stored energy can basically meet the data acquisition and transmission demand of low power wireless sensor network nodes. The source of power involved in this paper is a biological energy and new environment energy ——plant electric energy, which can extend operating time and endurance capacity of wireless sensor network node in the forest. To solve the power supply problem of wireless sensor network in forest environment is of practical significance.
