Study On The Setting Effectiveness Of Sign-Oriented Indentification Systerm In The Urban Rail Transit Station

The urban rail transit station has such characteristics as high passenger liquidity, big volume and complex passenger flow lines and so on. Especially the station located at the transportation hub, the space structure and the direction of passenger flow line in it are generally complex because of the requirement of passenger transference. Designing and setting the sign-oriented for passengers systematically and reasonably will help them learn about the information of the station space structure and passenger flow lines quickly so as to satisfy the information demand from passengers, which can guide passengers to accomplish the activities in the station successfully and efficiently. From the current research situation, it is not very comprehensive for the study of designing and setup the sign-oriented identification system for passengers. Therefore, it is worth studying for us to design and set the sign-oriented identification system for passengers comprehensively and systematically.Based on summarizing the current research and theoretical basis, first of all, this paper introduced the concept of urban rail transit station. And expounded the theory and the concept of the sign-oriented identification system for passengers in the urban roil station detailedly, including the classification, function, factor and setup form. Secondly, the influence factors of designing and setting the sign-oriented identification system for passengers in the urban rail transit station are analyzed in this paper, such as the space characteristics of urban rail transit station, passenger features and passenger flow lines, which makes a clear theoretical basis for setting the sign-oriented for passengers. Besides, four aspects that the sign-oriented for passengers optimized were proposed respectively, including the information content, the layout style, the space location and visual annlysis of passenger. To study the effectiveness of the sign-oriented identification system for passengers, Thus, the optimized direction of setting the sign-oriented for passengers was proposed according to influencing factors. And this paper focuses on the layout of the sign-oriented for passengers by establishing mathematical programming model, which solved with the software Lingo. Finally, Taking Tianfu Square of Chengdu Station for example, the effectiveness and optimizing research of setting the sign-oriented for passengers in it were studied.
