With its safe and energy-saving features, Automatic Train Operation system protects the efficient operation of urban rail transit, while the growth in traffic, followed by the development of the city, make the most passengers have to take the subway in stance. In this condition, the train’s comfort in operation will directly affect the travel experience that Automatic Train Operation system brought to passengers, therefore, the degree of train comfort become another technical indicators of Automatic Train Operation system.Through the introduction of vibration-comfort evaluation standards UIC513 for railway-train, the evaluation method applied for urban rail transmit can be determined, and taking into account of its own characteristics in urban rail transmit operation, it also need to make several appropriate adjustments to evaluation program and create a corresponding comfort evaluation model. To serve the evaluation program and meet requirements for the collection, calculation and analysis of relevant data in the actual operating lines, we designed a vibration-comfort evaluation device.The vibration-comfort evaluation device is comprised by vibration-acceleration measuring board and PC program tools. Measuring board using sensor chip MPU-6050 controlled by SCM to collect 3-axis acceleration data and transmit the data by the means of serial communication through wireless Bluetooth module both in real-time.Data-collection PC program based on Qt receive data in customized communication protocol and record data coordinated with evaluation program.Comfort-compute PC program based on MATLAB is used for the calculation and analysis of recorded offline data and present the comfort level in the form of numerical.The design of measuring board is compact and portable, and the PC program interface also designed friendly and intuitive, which enable to carry out evaluation work in the actual operation lines with a laptop.In the end, we can analyze vibration-comfort index data from the test line combined with actual operation of the train on lines, providing supportive theoretical data to optimize the degree of comfort index of Automatic Train Operation system by establishing correspondence between the two links.
