Main cable is the main force-bearing component of Jiangyin Changjiang River Highway Bridge.The health of main cable is particularly important,so it need to be inspected and maintained regularly.But now,the maintenance equipment has many problems,such as inefficiency and poor safety and narrow coverage and labour-intensive.For solve these problems, This paper designed self-walking suspension bridge main cable check and repair vehicle and studied it.According to structure of main cable, through calculation and design to walking force, turning force,Coating force of vehicle;and through FEA to main truss,replica mechanism, wheel mechanism whice is stressed,we keep the functional and performance requirements of vehicle. Because of the wind load is the main reason to reduce stability of maintenance vehicle, according to davenport wind spectrum and Matlab Software,we used AR and WAVE methods to simulate pulsating wind;we used Monte Carlo method to study the probability of pulsating wind. To ensure safety of vehicle,we used transient state analysis method of ansys to research the respond of wind vibration caracter of main truss;to research the influence of contact area between vehicle and main cable to the wind stability of vehicle. The results show that:(1) Maintenance vehicle is suggested to use in sunny day,it has ability to walk by itself and through chain mail automatically,to climb the main cable to 26°,to repair main cable with no blind corner.This vehicle won’t destroy Main cable coating and turn on the other side. To ensure stability of vehicle,we guarantee the wheel mechanism is under designed force.This designed is very important to the Similar equipment.(2)The 20 X 104 times calculation result of wind speed whice is 600 second long can describe the whole probability distribution of wind speed. We used AR and WAVE methods to simulate wind speed and calculate the probability distribution model whice is Vf~N(0,0.75412) and Vf~N(0,0.84462),What’s more, using the former methods to simulate wind is more safe.(3) Prediction formula of maximum statistics wind speed is right and high Precise,and using this formula can get the answer very fast than Monte Carlo method,it also reduce the requirement of computer.Using this formula and probability distribution mold can calculate probability of wind speed when the Simulation times is different.(4) Using WAVE methods to simulate wind speed,if probability of wind speed whice will not occur is 99.9%、...、99.9999%,the wind speed is 4.2m/s、5m/s、5.8m/s、6.5 m/s Separately.The new method is important to wind engineering.(5)Using FEA to calculate Respond of Wind Vibration Caracter of Main truss is believable. Using WAVE method to simulate wind is more safe.(6)Increasing contact area between track and main cable can improve wind stability of maintenance vehicle.
