The Design Of Intelligent Home Wireless Monitoring System Based On ZigBee And Android

With the increasing demand for the quality of life, the traditional smart home products have been unable to meet the needs of users. The traditional smart home system always have some problems such as cumbersome wiring, expensive price and the troublesome operation.In the sight of these problems, this paper designed a smart home wireless monitoring system based on ZigBee and Android. The paper could be divided into the following parts:First of all, this paper introduces the research background and development status of the smart home technology. In the sight of the present development situation of smart home technology,we have developed the design tasks, proposed a complete set of intelligent home wireless monitoring system, and introduced the design process of the system.Secondly, we designed the hardware modules of the system. This part first introduced the overall hardware structure of the system, then respectively expounds the selection and research of system sensors, the circuit design of CC2530 ZigBee module hardware and RT5350 wireless gateway module hardware.Thirdly,we carried out the software design of the system, which mainly includes the ZigBee wireless sensor network and the RT5350 gateway. Firstly, we realized the formation and data transmission of ZigBee wireless sensor network, and then we carried out the wireless data transmission function of RT5350 gateway by transplanting OpenWrt communication platform on RT5350 wireless gateway.Finally, This paper designed the software of Android mobile phone. In this part we firstly designed the user interface of the android mobile phone client, then carried out the data transmission between android and the lower machine through the socket communication.Android’s message handling mechanism and socket communication process are introduced detailedly in this part.After experiment, the design of intelligent home wireless monitoring system in this paper can realize the real-time monitoring of the home environment and control related equipment.The system could not only completes the expected design assignment, but also provide a reference for the development of smart home products.
