A Research On The Application Of The Islamic Style Landscape Design In The Resettlement Area

In recent years, with the rapid urbanization, people’s living standards is improving, they aren’t satisfied with the material life only, but the spiritual life as well. The demand level for residential landscape requirement has gradually become higher. Yinchuan, which is the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, having huge amount of people from different places, is a typical nationalities mixed city of the Hui Nationality and the Han Nationality. Therefore, in the construction of residential areas, we should consider the different residents demand. But the design of residential district in Yinchuan, especially in the Hui Nationality and the Han Nationality mixed residential areas; there are still many serious problems. The writer has looked up the literature and visited Yinchuan residential communities and observed the Islamic architecture. Thus discuss the use of Islamic landscape in the region in this paper. This article studied on the Hui Nationality culture and customs of life, and the preferences in architectural features. The writer has used Yinchuan Islamic architecture and landscape success cases, and analyzed the city natural environment conditions and the Islamic culture, and Muslim residents’ demand. Finally, all the factors above can be applied in the design practice, which can meet the needs of the living and psychological of the Hui people, and the need of other ethnic populations as well. In this respect, the paper puts forward the following points of view:1, to understand the issues related to the resettlement area in the relocation of the residents, such as nationalities, living customs, improve the living condition in the Hui nationality and the Han nationality mixed area, by perfecting the landscape design. Perform some investigation on the outdoor environment and summarize the existed problems and analyze ultimately. Solve the problems in the designing process.2, Investigate the relation between the city and the minority nationalities, and the relationship between the Hui Nationality and the Han Nationality. Solve the problems on how the Hui Nationality evolving in the modern society well and how the Hui and Han residents getting along well by using landscape approach. Find the landscape design method on the Hui Nationality residence and the nation mixed residence.3, we should pay attention to the regional culture in the built and the reform process in every residence. In the city landscape designing, the elements of Islamic culture should be concerned and well used. So we can get the regionalism cultural landscape design, which inherits the Islamic culture and character.
