Walking is the main travel mode of pedestrian travel in urban public transportation hubs or the large indoor, and flow density tend to be large. In addition to the individual traveler, the family, friends, organizations and other forms of group travel is the mainstream way to travel. Crowd in transportation hubs or indoor not usually travel alone, but travel as a team which is in certain social relations as a precondition, so to study the characteristics of pedestrian social groups and to provide the groups integrative way-finding service not only can bring a lot of convenience and comfort for the pedestrian groups in transportation hubs or indoor, but also can provide more accurate reference for how to construct public transit facilities. The research of the particular crowd includes three important aspects: Firstly, to build a dynamic flow model for pedestrian social groups, to study the similarity and dissimilarity between the groups and the individuals and to extend an existing model of pedestrian behavior to include social interactions among people walking in groups. From this way, it can provide people better public facility and service. Secondly, in order to design suitable guide policy to meet the majority of the members within the group and provide the hub-group-pedestrian multilevel guide service, it is important to consider the features of pedestrian social groups and different interests of the members. Thirdly, to provide pedestrian groups an information system which includes pedestrian information, route information and service in order to achieve the purpose of facilitate groups in urban public transportation hubs or the large indoor.According to the characteristics of the groups, this paper establish improved model based on the experimental specification of the social force model, that has been experimentally calibrated and validated in a previous work. Then, according to Dijkstra Algorithm and considering each point of interest of the group members, this article presents a route guidance method for groups. Lastly, this paper designs a set of information systems for groups, which includes an Android-based application, MySQL-based database and server based on C++.
