Power Big Data is a new interdisciplinary emerging with the development of smart grid and the technological development of big data and the specific application of big data technology in the modern smart grid. To date, the development of modern smart grid has a lot of power system data which are sourced from each production and operation process of power system. On the one hand, it poses a great challenge to the storage of existing power system data and the computation and analysis of data, and on the other hand, it offers valuable data resources for the value mining of power big data. However, it is hard to further run the complex computation and analysis of power system data by means of big data since the data business system in the current smart grid has been subject to a huge operating load. Therefore, this thesis proposes a distributed computation and analysis platform of power big data, analyzes its necessity for smart grid, designs the technical scheme and demonstrates the feasibility of the platform.This thesis mainly designs and analyzes the distributed computation and analysis platform of power big data from three aspects: the analysis of platform based on the user’s needs of power system specifically describes how the power system complements and expands the computational and analytical capabilities that power big data lack in, under the context of modern smart grid; based on the need analysis, the technical route of the platform is designed in details and the feasibility and innovativeness of the platform are demonstrated; with a view to the specific implementation of distributed computation and analysis platform of power big data, this thesis designs its specific functional modules, thereby completely describing the design and scheme of the platform.Finally, this thesis briefly introduces the actual operating effect of the system with reference to some data of power system, designs the simple computational tasks, and validates the platform computational and analytical function of power big data, demonstrating the effectiveness of the platform. In the end, it analyzes the significance and innovativeness of the platform for power system, its deficiencies and orientation for future development.
