With the popularity and spread of Internet,the widely useness of IoT(Internet of Things)as well as the development of intelligence for power equipments,building a Smart Grid with the characteristics of information,automation and interaction is the inevitable trend,which promotes the resource allocation capabilities,economic efficiency,safety levels,technologies and intelligence for Grids.As big data and cloud computing technology could complement each other,the combination of these two is capable of integrating the internal computing and storage resources and improving the processing and interaction abilities.Obviously it is a powerful technology component for Smart Grid.Cloud service-based supervisory control method and assisted decision making scheme for Smart Grid are proposed in this paper.With the integration of cloud computing,big data analysis and visualization technologies,a supervisory platform has been designed and de-veloped.It consists of an unified and complete platform service structure from data acquisi-tion and supervisory control to advanced application of assisted decision making scheme.Major outcomes of this research work include:1)Cloud service-based supervisory and control application is studied.On the basis of related traditional power technologies,with the guidance and conception of cloud compu-ting and service-based architecture,through core technologies,such as cloud-based service packaging,integrated modeling maintainence,and intelligent operation and control,a scala-ble SCADA system platform for Smart Grid has been developed.This platform has been applied and validated in real project,portraying its openness,connectivity,scalability and quick method for engineering.This application plays an important role in supervisory plat-form for Smart Grid.2)A data mining based assisted decision making scheme is proposed.Combined with cloud computing technology,firstly establish a unified model and information knowledge base of power transmission equipment monitoring.Based on the former model and knowledge,an intensive intelligent big data analysis research on dispatching service is studied.The paper proposes a integrated assisted decision making scheme of leading DBSCAN clustering and other algorithms in fault alarms.The scheme processes incremen-tal learning on the account of accumulative alarm data,promoting its intellectualization,making efficient use of the resources.Through examples,the feasibility and effectiveness of the this assisted decision making scheme for Smart Grid is verified.3)The dispatching supervisory platform of Smart Grid is designed and developed.Firstly based on cloud computing technology,the overall framework of the platform is pro-posed.Based on this framework,the platform completes its development by integrating and deploying information monitoring knowledge base,data collection,monitoring and deci-sion-making services from bottom to top.This platform has been verified and validated in practical supervisory and control operations.
