In this thesis, a research has been made on the endless linkless feed system of a high firing rate aircraft cannon, a set of cam mechanism is designed to simulate the recoil movement, then the semi-physical simulation system of high firing rate aircraft cannon is constructed based on the principled sample machine of feed system. The semi-physical simulation system is used to study the kinematic characteristics of feed system which has the recoil movement without shoot.Firstly, the each part of high-speed linkless feed mechanism is presented, the three-dimensional model of semi-physical simulation system is constructed.The structure of recoil simulation system has been designed and the motor power of system is calculated. The kinematic characteristics of closed cartridge is analyzed. The reflected dynamics model of feed system is constructed, the drive characteristics of drive system and the motor power is analyzed.The virtual prototype model of linkless feed system of high firing rate aircraft cannon is built based on the Multi-body system dynamics theory. then the dynamic simulation analysis has been carried on. According to comparing the simulation data of whether the system has recoil movement and different rate of fire, the kinematic characteristics of conveyors and the impact force between conveyors and the kinematic characteristics of cartridges in the conveyors are analyzed to study the kinematic characteristics of each part in linkless feed system in different rate of fire and whether has recoil movement. Take the simulation recoil displacement in the situation of there is a dud as the movement function of recoil part in virtual prototype. Through the dynamic simulation, analyze the effect of dud on feed system, validate the reliability of feed system.Finally, the stiffness and strength of important parts of the high-speed linkless feed system are analyzed by finite element method, the mechanism design is reliable based on the validated analysis data.
