In this thesis, a research has been made on the high-speed linkless feed mechanism, based on the high-speed linkless feed mechanism kinematic characteristics of theoretical analysis, simulation and test verification, to determine the movement handover feasibility of high-speed linkless feed mechanism and achieve the initial feeding target.Firstly, the each part of high-speed linkless feed mechanism is presented, according to analyze its kinematic characteristics to determine the force of main components and parts; the model of meshing impact between the sprocket and roller has been established by correlation theory and the peak value of impact force also has been calculated, at the same time, the projectile movement posture under a desired trajectory is analyzed.The simulation model for high-speed linkless feed mechanism is built according to Multi-body system dynamics theory, then the dynamic simulation analysis based on the multibody dynamics theory has been carried on, including the simulation analysis of loading cartridge clip and closed cartridge belt at the different ammunition feed speed. With the increasing ammunition feed speed, the movement handover dynamic characteristics of projectile and closed cartridge belt are more intense. By the simulation data contrast, it is indicated that the simulation model is reasonable. Also, the meshing impact between the sprocket and roller has been studied.The test verification for movement handover of high-speed linkless feed mechanism is done in order to verify the feasibility of the prototype. At the ammunition feed speed of310r/min, the principle prototype completes a single unit to multiple unit feeding test, which verifies its function and achieves the desired goal. Some feasible suggestions are put forward by analyzing certain issues.Finally, the stiffness and strength of important parts of the high-speed linkless feed mechanism are analyzed by finite element method; the mechanism design is reliable based on the validated analysis data. The analysis of this thesis has reference value for the perfection of subsequent principle prototype and the improvement of structure design.
