Building energy conservation is an important way to solve the current problems of human energy, one of the most direct and effective technique is the use of suitable insulation materials. Thermal conductivity is one of the important indexes to evaluate the thermal performance of thermal insulation materials. At present, polystyrene particles(EPS is the abbreviation of expanded polystyrene, it is polystyrene foam) have become one of the most important thermal insulation materials in China. However, due to the thermal conductivity of polystyrene particles test results are still very inadequate, especially the data of thermal conductivity is relatively poor. In our country, the research on the proportioning design of foamed concrete is not much, which limits the advance and development of foamed concrete. Nowadays, the research new materials and structures combination with polystyrene particles and foaming agent is even less. In order to improve the project quality and energy efficiency, meet the energy-saving design and product acceptance requirements, it is necessary to carry out experimental research on the thermal insulation material. This paper use fly ash, industrial solid waste such as polystyrene particles, cement, powder, foaming agent, perlite as main raw materials. From the use of requirements, to prepare adding foaming agent to cement EPS particle foam concrete test block, which have superior performance indicators. Analysis of material ratio test and thermal insulation properties. The main research contents are as follows:1. Select suitable raw materials for testing and analysis its performance to ensure the test materials required can meet the requirements of molding.2. Conduct EPS of ash concrete briquette. Study on different dosage of raw materials’ effect such as polystyrene particles, cement, and rubber powder. Analyze the results of orthogonal experiment to obtain the optimal mix proportion of EPS of ash concrete briquette.3. According to the basic formula of adding EPS particles concrete with foaming agent, Comprehensive analysis the effects of different kinds of foaming agent and different dosage of foaming agent and pearlite on concrete compressive strength and thermal conductivity.4. Optimize and explore adding EPS particles concrete with foaming agent’s mixture ratio. Study on thermal performance of thermal insulation test block, because this kind of concrete has the characteristic of controlling the heat transfer. Test and optimize the characteristics of heat insulation and thermal insulation by means of orthogonal test and obtain optimal mix proportion of EPS foam concrete with foam cement.The results show that: adding polystyrene particles, fly ash, foaming agent and perlite in the cement can form the adding EPS particles concrete with foaming agent. It has the characteristics of low cost, excellent heat preservation and heat insulation performance. It is a kind of ideal heat insulation material, and has a broad market prospect. Through the experimental analysis, it conclude that the optimum mix proportion, which is beneficial to the energy saving and waste. It is a kind of new material with good economic benefit, which meets the requirement of green environmental protection. It has a significant practical significance to the social energy saving and emission reduction.
