The switching power supply has been widely used in modern industry, agriculture, military and other fields. The conventional switching power supply on market exists for energy efficiency is not high, bulky, inconvenient to operate and other issues. With the rapid development of power technology, high frequency power supply field to a faster, more stable, smaller volume, higher efficiency in the direction of development.The system introduced the domestic and foreign switch status and trends in the development of power supply, detailed introduction and research of switching power supply control and main circuit topology, and based on this, proposed a novel single-stage half bridge switching power supply design scheme, design a kind of power factor corrector (PFC) based on the Single chip and PWM technique of switching power supply. And on this basis, we propose a novel single-stage half-bridge switching power supply design plan, the high frequency pulse generated by the Single chip control the TL494, the high frequency switch and the transformer output constant 48V voltage and power factor correction. The hardware circuit design of switching power supply in this paper is mainly divided into 5 parts, including the voltage regulator circuit, protection circuit, high-frequency transformer, filter circuit and feedback circuit.The simulation results show that the paper designed switching power supply with good power efficiency, reducing power consumption of the switching power supply and can be stabilized output DC voltage of 48V.
