Walking is an important means of transportation in connecting all the other transportations, under normal conditions, pedestrians can’t without walking when they take a short distance travel, take a bus and transfer to other traffics every single day. However, there are still a lot of problems in our country. Scholars all of the world do a lot of research in pedestrian traffic by using the models of pedestrian on the three levels of macro, mesoscopic and microcosmic. Among the many models of pedestrian traffic, the social force model got many attentions because it can reflect the pedestrian initiative. But, there are still have problems in simulating the pedestrian avoidance behavior under the exiting social force model such as collision, overlapping and rebound of pedestrians. In order to solve these problems, this paper improving the social force model in pedestrian avoidance, making the result more practical.The main research contents are as follows:(1) Analyzing the environment of the Xizhimen subway channel, according to the field research, fetch values from the characteristic parameters of pedestrian in urban channel, and analyzing the basic characteristics and collision avoidance feature of pedestrian in urban channel through practical investigations, providing parameter values and feature support for social force model in researching and application of urban rail corridor.(2) Through research of the avoidance characteristics of pedestrian in subway station channel, I found the shortcomings of existing social force model, and I improved it. The study shows that the scope of a pedestrian collision avoidance mechanism is a rectangular box that lateral 1.5M and vertical 0.8M; improved the view that two avoid pedestrians psychological repulsion effect is constant, by analyzing the data, we got changes in psychological repulsion with the longitudinal distance, and got the equation; changed the phenomenon of two lines opposite each other to avoid waking through when their vertical distance is zero, design of deflection angle, realize the force of collision avoidance; improving the effect of two pedestrian collision near the wall, increased the pedestrian psychological boundary distances with the wall, pedestrian collision near the wall be effected by the pedestrian interactions and obstacles, when we close to walls, near the wall border, and we march to the target direction(assuming its direction is parallel to the wall), to avoiding colliding with walls, at the same time, the other one take a larger longitudinal collision avoidance. The improved results before and after, this paper analyzed the data by using the MATLAB.(3) Preparation of a simulation software by MATLAB, taking simulation of regional bidirectional channel within the pedestrian’s walking behavior at Xizhimen subway station, verified the effectiveness of simulation model of the improved social force model. Studying the effect of railings to channel pedestrian speed, in order to improve the subway walking efficiency, we draw the corridor railings conclusions from large passenger flow situation.
