The pedestrian walking traffic is the most basic mode of transportation in people's daily life,especially in urban rail transit stations,there are a large number of complicated pedestrian traffic.With the rapid development of urban rail transit in China,the passenger traffic of rail transit has surged,the station is very crowded,and there are a lot of cross conflicts among pedestrians.Studying the characteristics of pedestrian traffic in the platform of urban rail transit stations can effectively improve the efficiency of walking pedestrians and ensure the safety of passengers.Therefore,pedestrian flow has become the focus of scholars in the field of transportation.This paper sums up scholars' results,and analyzes the shortcomings in existing studying on the simulation model of pedestrian walking behavior in urban rail transit stations.Based on then results of the field investigation in theplatform of urban rail transit station,analyze and summarize the walking characteristics of pedestrians and the characteristics of following behavior.By studying Zhilu YUAN's social force model which considered pedestrian following behavior,improve the social force model of pedestrian following behavior in urban rail transit station platform.Using the MATLAB software compile the simulation program of the present and modified model,and comparing the simulation results.Taking the investigation area of the Beijing Chegongzhuang subway station in the line 2 as the simulation environment,and the effectiveness of the improved model is verified by simulating the following behaviors,overtaking behaviors and conformity of platform pedestrians.The main research contents are as follows:(1)By reviewing relevant literature and materials,the research results of pedestrian flow theory,pedestrian flow microscopic simulation model,and improvement of social force model are summarized,which provide theoretical support for the improvement of existing social force model,the selection of pedestrian parameters and model parameters.(2)Selecting the platform of the Beijing Chegongzhuang subway station in the line 2 as the research site,and used manual observation,counting and video recording to investigate the pedestrian traffic characteristics of the urban rail transit station platform.The following four characteristics are obtained:?The passenger flow of urban rail transit stations is cyclical and unbalanced,and the flowobeys a normal distribution.The pedestrian walking speed is high and is easily affected by the station environment.?Following behavior occurs when pedestrians encounter obstacles or when pedestrians around accelerate.The pedestrian chooses to follow the pedestrian with shorter distance,faster walking speed and closer walking direction in the visual search range.?The following behavior is easily affected,and the gravitational force by the following is less than the gravitational force of the target point and the repulsive force.?When the expected speed of the following pedestrian is greater than the actual speed of the followed pedestrian,the overtaking behavior occurs and the overtaking behavior is completed with the shortest walking distance.(3)Improving Zhilu YUAN's following behavior social force model according to the characteristics of following behavior:Improving the visual search range of the following pedestrian,by expanding the visual radius,narrowing the scope of view and adding the vertical search range of pedestrians.Adding the excitatory factor to improv the expected speed of pedestrians,reflecting the characteristics that the pedestrian's expected speed is affected by the internal environment of the urban rail station and surrounding pedestrian's speed.By modifying the weight parameter of the mental repulsive force direction,correcting the effect of pedestrian mental repulsive force.By studing the transformation mechanism between pedestrians following behavior and overtaking behavior,determining the generating conditions of overtaking behavior.Using MATLAB software to compile the program of simulation model of pedestrian following behavior before and after the improvement,and the simulation results of the model are analyzed,so as to verify the effectiveness of the improved model.(4)Using the simulation program of modified pedestrian following behavior model,taking the investigation area of the Beijing Chegongzhuang subway station in the line 2 as the simulation environment,simulating the pedestrian following behavior,overtaking behavior,conformity phenomenon and speed change in the station platform area,so as to verify that the effect of the improved pedestrian following behavior simulation model is closer to the reality.It provides the basis for the establishment of facilities,passenger organization and operation management in the platform of urban rail transit station.Figure 85,table 14,reference 98.
