This paper is based on B automobile manufacturing enterprises’parts inbound logistics and makes the milk-run path planning as the starting point. It analysis the current path planning methods and the effect of path planning of the problem, and then propose a new path planning scheme in this paper. This scheme has changed the original scheme of manual method for scheduled milk-run route. First, this paper uses the software SPSS to clustering the rational division of suppliers; and then uses the analysis on the operation of B company as the example, abstracting a series of constraints; and then makes a more suitable path planning model for the actual operation of B company which is based on the traditional VRP model. The new model adds time and inventory constraints to the traditional VRP model. Time constraints are defined on the relationship between cycle time and vehicle operation time and travel time in milk-run operation which makes the milk-run continuous operation a continuous process from the time limit. Inventory constraints takes the quantity and frequency of milk-run with the host plant inventory level into account. After clustering and model establishment, this paper uses the MATLAB software to solve different suppliers’data of different regions with an improved ant colony algorithm and genetic ant colony algorithm; Finally, this paper, based on the calculation results,makes up a new milk-run path planning scheme and selects different levels of index.From the point of view, we can see that the optimized loop pickup path planning method solved some questions such as the path selection’s unreasonable due to manual scheduled path choice, the pickup frequency is not unified. And provide the scientific reference method for B company software scheduled milk-run path templates; in effect, after optimization, the cycle of pickup scheme greatly reduces the B enterprise inventory cost and the total cost, making the enterprise B parts into the factory process more economical and effective, and greatly reduced the suppliers of funds occupancy costs, decreased the supplier’s inventory level, and improve the efficiency of collaboration between supply chain members. At the same time, the optimization scheme proposed in this paper for B company is also of great significance for the other enterprises that want to implement cycle replenishment, and it also provides new ideas and methods about effective optimization path for other enterprise that have been implementing the milk-run method.
