Research On Engineering Pricing Data Structure And Pricing Model Based On BIM

The rapid development of the construction industry increases competition among construction enterprises, if construction enterprises want to survive in a competitive environment, it is necessary to change its inefficient working practices. With the popularity of the bill-of-quantity model, construction companies need to prepare high quality bill of quantities for bidding and project cost management. However, the lack of technology and restrictions of personnel working mode, the existing mode of project cost and pricing software still has many problems and defects. The development of information technology and the emergence of BIM technology in the construction industry provide a good opportunity for the development of China’s project pricing area. BIM which is based on the 3D digital technology, integrated the whole life-cycle engineering information of project can improve the efficiency and accuracy of construction costing, automatically deal with related issues such as design changes, is beneficial to project pricing and the whole process cost management of project.Based on the research of BIM technology and IFC, this paper researched project pricing data structure and pricing model, it’s designed to address the main problems and defects in construction costing, implement the project life-cycle cost management and increase the efficiency of China’s construction field. This article firstly researched BIM technology, IFC standards and codes for engineering Bill pricing, and put forward project pricing data structure of BIM which is suitable for codes for quantity pricing and established the Data Structures of Engineering Bill pricing based on BIM. By the research of BIM model and IFC extension mechanism, this paper achieved different extension mechanisms to expand different data and information in the field of engineering Bill pricing, discussed the information description mechanism of IFC in the field of engineering cost, so as to solve the BIM data completeness of the information expression of pricing model. By the research of mechanism of engineering quantity measurement and pricing based on BIM, this paper established information model of the project pricing based on BIM, and analyzed the pricing process. This study shows that BIM technology can significantly improve the efficiency of construction costing, implement the project’s life-cycle information sharing and exchanging, it has some guidance to develop related project pricing software.This article has thirty-eight figures, seven tables, fifty-seven references.
