In recent years, the problem of traffic congestion has started from Beijing, Shanghai and other first tier cities to the second tier, three lines of urban sprawl. From the end of last century, our country began to research the intelligent transportation system, hoping to deal with the more and more serious traffic problems by electronic, information and other scientific and technological means. At present, the intelligent transportation system has been deployed in the first tier cities, and has achieved good results. As an important information window of intelligent traffic, traffic guidance screen plays an important role in urban traffic.The main work of this paper is to design a distributed control system, which is installed in the main traffic intersection of the city, and the function of the system is realized through the code. Specific research and design work is as follows:1、Data compilation. After a review of relevant literature, familiar with the development of traffic guidance screen, and its main function, installation, and installation location features. At the same time, to understand the current controlling unit main implementation platform and implementation.2、Describes the intersection induced effects and manner, and made a traffic intersection in the installation and deployment guidance screen bar.
