Automobile gearbox is the core component of automobile transmission system. Its assembly quality would directly affect the vehicle driving performance. Analyzing and ensuring the assembly quality of the gearbox is an important part in the process of automobile production. It will produce the corresponding vibration signal, when transmission works. There are many ways for gearbox vibration signal characteristic analysis, and order analysis is a method of studying vibration signal more effectively. This thesis will analyze order analysis systematic and comprehensive, and its application in automobile gearbox assembly quality control is analyzed.Firstly, this thesis describes the research background and significance and understands the current development of machinery fault diagnosis technology. This thesis also makes a further understanding of the gearbox fault diagnosis and then elaborates the research purpose and content. From the major part of the transmission:gear, bearing, shaft, shell and so on, the vibration analysis has been carried on, and vibration signals of them are carried on the feature extraction. From vibration’s point of view, the relationship between the structure and vibration signals of gearbox is analyzed.Secondly, for the vibration signals of the gearbox, some measures and signal processing methods are given in this thesis. In order to further analyze the vibration signals of gearbox, the order analysis is introduced. This thesis also introduces a variety of the principles of order tracking methods and the algorithm based on the c# language in detail. Through the comparisons of order analysis and spectrum analysis, order analysis also needs to solve the problem of anti aliasing filter and noise reduction. Many effective methods in the process of spectrum analysis are introduced into the order analysis in order to achieve the goal of extracting the fault feature fast and accurately. In addition, aiming at disadvantages of order analysis which can’t reflect the characteristics of angle domain information, the "order-wavelet" analysis are put forward.Finally, referencing the domestic and overseas design methods for the test system of automobile gearbox and summarizing the signal analysis methods in this thesis. This thesis Sets the vibration signal analysis system which uses online monitoring assembly quality of automobile gearbox and order analysis based on the design method of virtual instrument. By the field tests results, the feasibility of online monitoring based on the order analysis are verified.
