Fire-Fighting monitor system based on image processing is a class of intelligent fire control system which detect the flame signal through image sensors.The system can realize flame identification, fire positioning and water jet position adjustment according to the fire position.For using camera as a flame detector, the system will get a broad monitoring range and is able to achieve tremendous information. The system is suitable for fire monitoring and fire disaster relief work in complex environment. The flame detection algorithm based on image recognition is the key to realize the intelligent system.Related Researches of flame identification based on digital image processing has made certain achievements, but there is still a complex calculation, identifying problems such as inaccurate need further improvement and supplement. Second, flame positioning and the reasonable design of Fire-Fighting monitor system determine the overall performance of the intelligent fire control system. Therefore, the improvement research of flame recognition algorithm and system design of the intelligent fire control system has important significance.This article mainly aims at the flame recongnition algorithm,machine vision, design of the control system and the fire gun mechanical structure design. Selecting flame color, shape, flicker frequency as criteria to distinguish the flame image and the background image. Morphological filtering method is used to deal with the flame binary image and an improved dynamic target detection method is used to determine the flame center. Then the algorithm is realized with MATLAB software. Camera model parameters are determined by camera calibration experiment. The calibrated camera model is applied to calculate the flame position based on binocular vision theory. The fire point location experiment is carried out. Designed the control scheme of motors in PTZ camera and stepper motors in water gun.The program is based on multitasking control system of single chip microcomputer. Design a PC software interface of the Fire-Fighting monitor system with the using of MATLAB GUI.Design the serial communication protocols, and realize the single chip and PC communication simulation experiment by creating virtual serial ports. The hydraulic performance parameters design and the mechanical structure design of water gun are studied. In this paper, a pitching rotation of four bar linkage mechanism is proposed. The kinematics simulation of designed mechanism is carry out in Simulink. The method of output and input Angle practical calculation of four bar linkage is realized by using Newton Simpson method.The fire recognition experiment results show that the design of flame recognition algorithm can recognize the mobile and stationary flame. The location experiment results show that dual-vision is suitable for the flame positioning and satisfies the requirement on accuracy. The simulation experiment results show that the designed system can realize motor control in different group separately and satisfies the requirement of control accuracy.
