There are a lot regularity road congestion in urban traffic congestion.Congestion resulting in many of these reasons, except for the outer objective factors such as the only way, a certain preference for these sections is also one of the important reasons. Process theory that the behavior of individual decision based on what rules to make decisions directly affect the part of the decision-making results. Traditional researches assumptions travelers follow the same decision-making rules routing decisions, not taking into account individual differences, such an assumption deviate from realistic travelers’ route choice decision rule. With the development of information technology, traffic information products is also increasing, but travelers’ reaction tothese traffic information which these product releases is mixed. Comprehensive analysis of relevant traffic information research found that the type of information (descriptive information and prescriptive information) covers the main elements of information presentation, but also the most concerned intravelers angle. In view of this paper to study the different types of information travelers prefer Optional rules of the road problems using empirical methods.By combing the research scholars, the paper establishes the following assumptions: first, individual travelers attributehave a relationship with their preference for the type of information; second, the type of information preferences have a relationship with travelers’ rules of the road; third,1 individual property have a relationship withrules of the road preference. Based on this initial hypothesis, the article by structural equation modeling ideas configuration established individual property, the type of information preferences, choose the initial conceptual model road rules. Then design a questionnaire to obtain relevant data, and use the model to fit the data and revised results confirm the three hypotheses of the article. First, travelers ’preference for gender attributes and the type of information a significant relationship; the second, with different types of information preferences of travelers who choose their preferences also have different rules of the road; third, gender properties affect travelers’ preferences Optional Road Rules; fourth, there is correlation between the rules. The result of this paper can provide realistic evidencefor the traffic control department in providing different traffic control strategies and for the relevant information body releasing the respective traffic information.
